My Story

The Journey That Changed My Life

After the birth of my daughter, everything changed. However, a simple question from a doctor set in motion a series of events that transformed my life.

I’ve loved fitness for most of my adult life, but after I had my daughter, everything felt different. I began experiencing anxiety, and looking back, it was likely postpartum depression. Simple things felt impossible. Grocery shopping. Crossing the street. Even going through a drive-thru for coffee and if you know me, you know coffee is my love language.

“Have you tried moving your body for 30 minutes a day?”

After visiting my doctor several times, he gently suggested medication, but that wasn’t something I personally felt comfortable with. Instead, he asked me that one simple question. What started as a small daily commitment became a turning point. Over time, I began to feel like myself again.

Fitness and nutrition mean everything to me now, but not for the reasons you might expect. It was never about the way I looked. It was about showing up for myself. Fueling my body. Creating space for clarity. Reconnecting with who I was.

I started enjoying everyday life again. I felt stronger — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Movement became medicine. Nutrition became an act of care. Together, they gave me back something I didn’t know I’d lost.

As a wife and mom, that matters deeply. Taking care of my health allows me to show up as the best version of myself for my family.

This journey is why I’m here. Not to give medical advice, but to share what helped change my life, and to walk alongside other women as they build habits that actually stick.
